Hawkesbury Social Atlas
About this Atlas. Under the NSW Local Government (General) Amendment (Community and Social Plans) Regulation 1998, all NSW Local Government Councils are required to develop a community profile as a key component of their social planning process.
This Social Atlas contains maps illustrating a range of social, demographic and economic characteristics of the population of the Hawkesbury and includes a commentary which briefly analyses these characteristics and highlights the main features.

Note: Some chapters within the Social Atlas are large and may take a while to download. Hard copies of the Social Atlas can be viewed at the Windsor and Richmond libraries
Hard copies of the Hawkesbury Social Atlas 2003 can be purchased from Council Offices at a cost of $35 (GST inclusive). Copies of the Atlas can also be viewed at the Windsor and Richmond Libraries or can be downloaded from the links above.

Living in the Hawkesbury
The Hawkesbury Community Survey outlines the findings of the Hawkesbury Household Survey and the outcomes of consultations undertaken with different populations groups. It documents;
- the views of residents about living in the Hawkesbury - what they value and what they are concerned about,
- the experiences of the different population groups that live in the Hawkesbury
The Hawkesbury Community Plan 2005 outlines the broad community actions that Council will work toward (and report against annually) over the next four years. It presents the results of Council's consultation process through the Hawkesbury Community Survey 2004 - including the Hawkesbury Household Survey 2003 and consultations with main target groups in the community.
