Hawkesbury Sports Council

Hawkesbury City Council delegates the care, control, management and development of sporting facilities in the region to the Hawkesbury Sports Council so that decisions regarding resource allocation for sports facilities are made by the sporting public.

The Hawkesbury Sports Council was formed at a public meetings in 1990, under the guidance of Hawkesbury City Council, and was incorporated in January 1992 to be representative of the sporting community and specifically to undertake the control of active sporting facilities in the region.
