Introduction - Official opening 25 June 2005
The Hawkesbury’s first public gallery opened in conjunction with the Deerubbin Centre, which is also home to Hawkesbury Central Library, Chapters Café, Curves Gym and the Deparment of Community Services.
More than 500 guests attended the official opening of the gallery on 25 June 2005, in the presence of the mayor, Clr Bart Bassett, members of parliament and special guest, Amanda Smith, of ABC Radio National.
