If you are looking for a lost pet or new friend of a specific breed, this list may help.
Animals of the following breeds currently are available from the Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter. Some dogs may be a cross-breed, however they resemble the nominated breeds. All care is taken to ensure correct identification, however no responsibility will be accepted.
Hawkesbury City Council is active in rehoming animals from Penrith, Baulkham Hills and Hawkesbury that make their way to the Companion Animal Shelter. Phone inquiries about individual animals will be answered, but if you are interested in giving a pet a home, there is no substitute for face to face contact with the animals to help you find a pet.
