Joint Regional Planning Panel

Joint Regional Planning Panels (JRPP) have been set up to determine a range of developments, including all developments with a value of more than $10 million and subdivisions of more than 250 lots that are not determined by the Minister for Planning.

What is the JRPP?

The Joint Regional Planning Panel (JRPP) is a panel of members appointed by State Government and Local Council. The Panels have been established to provide independent, merit-based decision-making and advice to the Minister on regionally significant development proposals.

When and where does the JRPP meet?

Panel meetings relating to the Hawkesbury Area can be located under the Sydney West Panel. Panel meetings will generally be held in the Council Chambers at Hawkesbury City Council and meetings are open to the public. Any interested group or person can seek to address the meeting by first contacting the JRPP Secretariat.  To apply to address the meeting or for any other information about the panel contact the JRPP Secretariat.
