Section 94 Contributions Plan 2008 (Repealed 4 June 2015)

New development generates additional demand for open space, recreational facilities, community facilities, road works and the like.

Section 94 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979 permits Councils to require persons developing land to pay monetary contributions and/or dedicate land to meet the increased demand for public services and amenities generated by development.
