Planning Policies
The Section 94a Development Contributions Plan 2006 plan authorises the imposition of a contribution on development consents and complying development certificates (pursuant to Section 94A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979).
Section 94 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979 permits Councils to require persons developing land to pay monetary contributions and/or dedicate land to meet the increased demand for public services and amenities generated by development.
This plan is entitled Hawkesbury Development Control Plan 2002 (DCP). This DCP combines into one document, the various policies and guidelines affecting development proposals within Hawkesbury.
