Environmental Issues

The production and manufacture of all fabrics and clothes has an environmental impact. Cotton is the most pesticide intensive crop in the world; polyester manufacture (and other synthetic fabrics) is an energy intensive process and is made from petroleum; and to produce a single pair of jeans 6,800 litres of water is needed. Considering all of the above, donating your unwanted clothes to charity for reuse saves resources.
