A-Z Reuse and Recycling
Lawn mowers that are made of predominantly metal can be recycled. If the lawn mower is still in working condition, try selling it or giving it away.
Lawn mowers that are still usable can be advertised on the following sites:
- Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility – The Driftway, South Windsor -
Phone: (02) 4560 4684
Australians consume 50 to 60 million fluorescent tubes and HID lamps every year. Less than 1% is recycled. Lamps are processed to recover the glass, aluminium components and phosphor containing mercury. The mercury is recovered by distillation for reuse.
