The 2017 Hawkesbury Sports Awards are proudly sponsored by Hawkesbury City Council and Lynwood Country Club. They acknowledge the sporting accomplishments of community members as well as the contributions of individuals to sporting clubs through support roles.
Nominations are invited for individuals and community groups who meet the selection criteria of one or more of the nine categories listed below. Nomination forms should provide as much detail as possible to assist with the judging process. Nominations must address the applicable category criteria listed below.
Council suggests preparing information for your nomination in a word document and copying and pasting into the form once completed to ensure no information is lost.
All nominations must be accompanied by a letter of support from the sporting organisation association the nominee represents.
Nominations CLOSE 5pm Friday, 7 April 2017.
Council's Hawkesbury Civic and Citizenship Committee is responsible for assessing all nominations received based on the section criteria and select award recipients for each of the categories. Unsuccessful nominations can be resubmitted in subsequent years.
Finalists will be invited to attend a ticketed Presentation Dinner on Monday, 29 May 2017 at Lynwood Country Club, Pitt Town. Invitations will be issued by Council in April with full details of the event. The invitation will include a two course meal (dinner and dessert). Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks must be purchased separately.
Additional tickets will be available for purchase for guests. Additional tickets are charged at a flat rate of $48 and will include a two course meal (dinner and dessert). Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks must be purchased separately.
