The NSW Government has allocated the Rotary Club of Kurrajong – North Richmond a grant of $3,000 which has allowed the purchase of a commercial grade spray paint unit. The equipment will be used by the Club's Graffiti Removal Squad in the restoration of painted surfaces which have been vandalised by graffiti.

Dr Rex Stubbs OAM Memorial Scholarship 2013 Winner Announced

Hawkesbury City Council is delighted to announce Peter Lister of East Kurrajong as the winner of the Dr Rex Stubbs OAM Memorial Annual Scholarship for his article on the Hawkesbury Agricultural College.  Peter is delighted to be awarded the scholarship for 2013.

Scots Uniting Church Pitt Town Jumps on board the Garage Sale Trail

Scots Uniting Church at Pitt Town is the first local organisation to register for the Garage Sale Trail to be held on Saturday, 26 October 2013. Hawkesbury City Council is participating in this national community event for the first time. Garage Sale Trail encourages Australians everywhere to come together on the same day to reduce waste and reuse pre-loved items in a fun and creative way.
