Citizen

They are Australian citizens and receive a certificate on Australia Day the following year to acknowledge their hard work and efforts. The recipients are also in the running for the Citizen of the Year award which is presented on Australia Day of the following year.

Citizen of the Year will be chosen from the four seasonal winners. Young Citizen of the Year will also be chosen from the four seasonal winners. Non-residents demonstrating extensive commitment or significant contribution to the Hawkesbury are now eligible for nomination for Citizen of the Season or Young Citizen of the Season due to recent changes to the Award criteria. Both Citizen of the Season and Young Citizen of the Season nominations are taken all year round.

To nominate a person for Citizen of the Season complete a nomination form.

The nomination forms are also available from:

There is no limit to the amount of nominations you can submit.
