Young Citizen

02 Nov 2011 5:13pm

The Young Citizen of the Season Award program is an excellent program that acknowledges exceptional contributions of young people in our community.

Young Citizen of the Season recipients are chosen every three months for their community service and commitment to volunteer work. Recipients need to be Australian citizens and under the age of 25 at the Australia Day award presentation.

Once an individual is awarded the Young Citizen of the Season award, the recipient will also be in the running for the Young Citizen of the Year award. This award will be presented on Australia Day of the following year, in conjunction with the Citizen of the Year award.

Non-residents demonstrating extensive commitment or significant contribution to the Hawkesbury are now eligible for nomination for Young Citizen of the Season due to recent changes to the Award criteria.

To nominate you will need to fill complete a Young Citizen of the Season nomination form.

Nomination forms are also available from:

  • Richmond Club
  • Richmond Library
  • Hawkesbury Central Library

There is no limit to the amount of nominations that an individual can submit.

Please return forms by fax to 02 4587 7740 or mail to:
