Starring Jack Thompson and Graeme Kennedy, The Club is based on the David Williamson play of the same name and inspired by true events. The mixture of comedy and drama is just right as the film follows the antics of an Australian football team and explores the clashes of individuals within the club. Full of manoeuvring and back-stabbing boardroom politics, you don’t need to follow AFL to appreciate this timeless tale.

The movie will be shown in the Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street Windsor. Entry is free but bookings are essential via or call (02) 4560 4460.

Tea and Coffee will be available before the screenings and everyone is also welcome to bring along snacks and drinks. The movie runs for 95 minutes and is rated PG. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Suitability for viewing is at the discretion of the parent/carer.

Movies @ your Library events are held on the second Thursday of the month, except during January.
