Live and Local Hawkesbury3 November 2017
Hawkesbury City Council has received grant funding of $20,000 through the Create NSW (formerly Arts NSW) ‘Live and Local’ Strategic Initiative. The funding provides the opportunity for Council to work with the Live Music Office to develop bespoke local music events.

Winners of the 2017 Hawkesbury Garden Competition were announced at the presentation evening held at Windsor RSL on Wednesday, 18 October.37 entries in eight categories were received and judge, Mr Patrick McManus had a hard job judging the high quality gardens.

Museum secures grant for Howe House improvements16 October 2017
Hawkesbury Regional Museum in Windsor has been successful in its application for $15,000 funding under the Museum and Gallery Building Improvement Program run by Museums and Galleries NSW. The grant will be used to improve damp and mould issues, currently affecting Historic Howe House.

Honouring ‘The Cathedral of the Hawkesbury’12 October 2017
Hawkesbury Regional Museum and Hawkesbury Regional Gallery in Windsor have joined with St Matthew’s Anglican Church for some special events and exhibitions this October, when the iconic Greenway-designed church celebrates 200 years. On Saturday, 14 October there will be a Big Birthday Bash, with a free bus operating between the Museum, the church, and the Regional Gallery, which will also be showing a special exhibition, titled Pure Greenway. As part of the special ongoing museum exhibition, The Cathedral of the Hawkesbury, there will be a white gloves session and Curator’s talk on Saturday, 28 October.
