Hawkesbury artist Greg Hansell works with earth pastels, handmade from rocks and clay without commercial pigments, binders or additives. His traditional and realist paintings are admired both in the Hawkesbury and beyond.

You will undertake building inspections for compliance with the Building Code of Australia, process development applications to ensure compliance with legislation and Council policies and issue Construction Certificates.

To be successful in this role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications, a current drivers licence, together with demonstrated building surveying experience suitable for obtaining appropriate accreditation. Excellent customer relations skills, problem solving and analytical abilities are also necessary.

Works Superintendent - IS006CM

Council is looking for a motivated leader with excellent people skills to fill the position of Works Superintendent.

This is a challenging role where you will be responsible for the delivery of Council works programs to ensure project production targets and quality specifications are met while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

The successful applicant must have an Overseers Certificate or relevant tertiary qualification as well as demonstrated technical experience in road, drainage and bridge construction; the skills to manage resources including plant, staff and materials, and the ability to develop good relationships with clients, contractors and the community.

The position is classified under Council’s salary structure as Grade 14, with a commencing rate of pay of $1061.19 gross per (38) hour week plus an Industry Allowance of $12.40 per week, 9% superannuation and the opportunity to progress through Council's Salary System.
