Hawkesbury Mobility Plan Implementation Committee -community representative Council Notices
Expressions of Interest are invited from persons interested in being considered for appointment as a community representative to the Hawkesbury Mobility Plan Implementation Committee. The Committee's role is to assist Council staff in implementing the strategies and scope of works outlined in the Hawkesbury Mobility Plan
The Hawkesbury Mobility Plan has been adopted by Council to provide a blueprint for improving bicycle and pedestrian facilities for the Hawkesbury. The Plan outlines principles for determining capital works priorities for the construction of cycleway and pedestrian facilities and includes a 10 year works program based on these priorities.
The Committee is seeking to appoint persons to fill casual vacancies on the Committee and would welcome applications from people who have experience and knowledge of pedestrian access, mobility and cycling issues. The Committee would particularly welcome applications from motorised mobility scooter users, pedestrians, cyclists and people with a disability.
