Governor Phillip Reserve and Boat Ramp - Temporary Closure

Notice is given that Governor Phillip Reserve and boat ramp will be closed to the general public on Saturday, 17 September 2011 and Sunday, 18 September 2011.  Exclusive use has been granted to Upper Hawkesbury Power Boat Club for the 2011 Windsor Spectacular.

Coaching would need to be offered by suitably qualified person/s for members of the public on weekday afternoons with the potential for bookings on weekday and Saturday mornings. Lane hire for prospective coaches and entry fees for swimmers apply. Lane space is on offer from October 2011 until April 2012. Expressions of Interest will be accepted until close of business Thursday, 22 September 2011 and should be addressed to Sean Perry, Parks and Recreation, PO Box 146, Windsor 2756. Richmond Swimming Centre Open for School Holidays

Richmond Swimming Centre will be open for the 2011/2012 Summer Season in time for the school holidays on 24 September 2011. School holiday opening hours will be 10am – 6pm Sunday to Friday and 8am – 6pm on Saturdays. The Centre will be hosting Learn to Swim lessons, birthday parties, squad sessions and Swim Club nights between October and April. Other opportunities include private bookings, Christmas parties and presentations for sporting clubs and community groups. For information on any of these programs or seasonal opening hours, please contact the Swimming Centre on 4578 1349.

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for a - Dwelling House and Rural Shed at the above property.  The applicant is Mathew Ivan Flanjak and Mary Flanjak. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 15/09/2011 to 29/09/2011. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, at Council''s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference DA0351/11. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council Policy for Access to Information.

Under Section 147(5) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Notice is given that Hawkesbury City Council have resolved to place on public exhibition for 28 days, the proposed name of 'Singleton’s Reserve' for the Reserve located on Mill Road Kurrajong (Lot 285 & 286 DP 751649).
