Public Notice of Planning Proposal to Rezone 77 – 87 Old Bells Line of Road, Kurrajong NSW 2756
Council has prepared a planning proposal under the provisions of Section 55 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (the Act). The objective of the planning proposal is to rezone 77 – 87 Old Bells Line of Road, Kurrajong from Housing to Business General 3(a) under the provisions of Hawkesbury Local Environmental Plan 1989 (LEP 1989) or the equivalent zone in the draft Hawkesbury Local Environmental Plan 2011 (dLEP 2011).
The planning proposal and other supporting documentation are on public exhibition 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday at the Council offices, 366 George Street, Windsor for the period Friday 3 August 2012 to Friday 17 August 2012. The planning proposal and other supporting documentation can also be viewed on Council’s website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.
Interested persons are invited to inspect the planning proposal and other supporting documentation. Written submissions should be referenced “LEP89001/11” and can be posted to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, WINDSOR NSW 2756, faxed to (02) 4587 7740, or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The last day for the receipt of submissions is Friday 17 August 2012.
Under Section 147(5) of the Act, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Where relevant a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement is to accompany any submission lodged with Council.

The development consents are available for public inspection, without charge, at Council Offices. Office hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Expressions of Interest
Community Representation on the Lower Portland Ferry Working Party
Council has resolved to establish, in conjunction with The Hills Shire Council, a Working Party to investigate and assess options for the future operation of the Lower Portland Ferry.
Expressions of interest (EOI) are welcomed from community members for this Working Party. EOI must be received by close of business Friday, 17 August 2012.
It should be noted that Council has indicated its support for the ongoing operation of the service, given the key role it serves in the community.
Members of the Working Party will provide advice on both community needs and options, with the Working Party preparing a report for consideration by both Councils. Community representatives will be required to conduct themselves in accordance with the Hawkesbury City Council Code of Conduct.
Please address all EOI in writing to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council and submit to Council by any of the methods listed below.
