Hawkesbury Development Control Plan 2002 - Draft Heritage Conservation Chapter

Council at the Ordinary Meeting of 12 March 2013 resolved to exhibit a draft Heritage Conservation Chapter for the Hawkesbury Development Control Plan 2002 (DCP) for a minimum 28 days. The aim of this Chapter is to promote and protect Hawkesbury’s natural and cultural heritage as a valuable resource for existing and future generations. The Chapter provides development controls for heritage items and heritage conservation areas listed in Schedule 5 – Environmental Heritage of Hawkesbury Local Environmental Plan 2012 and any development on land adjacent to or within the vicinity of a heritage item or conservation area.

The draft Chapter, known as Chapter 10 Heritage Conservation of Part C of the DCP, and other supporting documentation, including associated minor administrative amendments to other parts of the DCP, is on public exhibition 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday at the Council offices, 366 George Street, Windsor for the period Friday 12 April 2013 to Monday 13 May 2013. The draft Chapter and other supporting documentation can also be viewed on Council's website.

Interested persons are invited to inspect the draft Chapter and other supporting documentation. Written submissions may be made to Council during the exhibition period with the final day of submissions being Monday, 13 May 2013. Submissions should be referenced “DCP2002/13” and can be posted to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, WINDSOR NSW 2756, faxed to (02) 4587 7740, or emailed to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.

Any comments about this proposal may contain information that is personal, such as information that identifies you for the purposes of the Privacy & Personal information Protection Act 1998. The submission of personal information with your comments is voluntary but, if not provided, may effect consideration of such comments.  The purpose of collecting this information is to assist Council in obtaining the views of the residents.  This information will be stored in Council’s records system and may be made available to third parties in accordance with legislation.

Under Section 147(5) of the Act, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Where relevant a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement is to accompany any submission lodged with Council.

Tender No. 00926 - Tender for the Selective Maintenance of Roads & Drainage

Tenders are invited for the selective maintenance of roads and drainage for a 1 year period commencing 1 July 2013, with the option of a 1 year extension, and will be received up to 10am on Thursday, 2 May 2013.

Tender documents are available for free at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ or at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday 9 April 2013 for a non-refundable fee of $80.00 (incl. GST).

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.

Tender No. 00926 - Tender for the Construction of Semi-Contiguous Pile Retaining Wall on West Portland Road, Lower Portland

Tenders are invited for the construction of a semi-contiguous pile retaining wall on West Portland Road, Lower Portland and will be received up to 3pm on Tuesday, 30 April 2013.

It is proposed to construct a 30m (approximate) length of bored pile retaining wall with permanent rock anchors. The scope of work comprises the supply of all materials, plant, equipment & labour, and carrying out all construction activities.

Tender documents are available for free at WSROC or at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 9 April 2013 for a non-refundable fee of $75 (incl. GST).

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.
