Draft Hawkesbury Regional Open Space Strategy
The Draft Hawkesbury Regional Open Space Strategy will be available for public comment from 27 February 2013 to 26 March 2013. This Strategy has been commissioned by Hawkesbury City Council to deal with the long term strategic management of Council’s open space and recreation provision; and to provide a 10 year implementation plan. The Draft Strategy can be viewed at Council''s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor; Hawkesbury Central Library, Windsor; Richmond Branch Library and via Council's website.
Please address all comments in relation to this matter to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council titled "Submission - Regional Open Space Strategy". Submissions will be received until COB, Friday, 5 April 2013. Please return to Council by any of the below methods:

Expressions of Interest
Community Representation on Council's Sustainability Advisory Committee
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified members of the community to act as community representatives on the Sustainability Advisory Committee. Community members are generally appointed to committees on the basis of their industry knowledge and experience, technical skills and/or their ability to interpret the common interests of residents.
Sustainability Advisory Committee: Community representation - Four (4) Community appointments
Council has established a Sustainability Advisory Committee to address sustainability issues within the Hawkesbury LGA. The Committee has been delegated the task of providing advice and assistance to Council to promote sustainable practices and reduce the ecological footprint of the Hawkesbury LGA. The aim of the Committee is to assist Council to integrate environmental sustainability into Council policies, plans and operations and promote sustainable practices in the community. Meetings are to be held a minimum of two times per year.

Tender No. 00927 - Tender for the Construction of Jurds Bridge on Upper Macdonald Road, Higher Macdonald
Tenders are invited for the construction of Jurds Bridge on Upper Macdonald Road, Higher Macdonald and will be received up to 3pm on Thursday, 28 March 2013.
It is proposed to construct a new three span prestressed concrete bridge (a total length of 45.48m) over Macdonald River to replace the existing timber bridge. The scope of work comprises the supply of all materials, plant, equipment, labour and the carrying out of all activities necessary for the construction of the bridge and its approaches.
Tender documents are available for free at WSROC or at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 5 March 2013 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST).
Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.
Please note that there is a Compulsory Pre-Tender meeting to be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, 19 March 2013 at the jobsite which is located at approximately 12.3km from St Albans on Upper Macdonald Road.
