Hawkesbury City Council is exhibiting a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) for the proposed development known as “Redbank North Richmond” affecting Lot 271, DP 1156792, 98 Grose Vale Road, North Richmond; Lot 272 DP 1156792, 96 Grose Vale Road, North Richmond; and Lot 273 DP 1156792, 26 Arthur Phillip Drive, North Richmond.
This draft VPA is complementary to the planning proposal that Council resolved to support on 12 November 2013 to rezone the abovementioned land to enable the development of the site for approximately 1,400 residential allotments and ancillary development.
The objective of the draft VPA is for the Developer to provide Council with appropriate road infrastructure, community facilities, embellishment works to Peel Park and other relevant open space areas, monetary contributions and dedication of land required as a result of the proposed development.
The draft VPA, an Explanatory Note and other supporting documentation are on public exhibition 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday at the Council offices, 366 George Street, Windsor for the period Friday 11 April 2014 to Monday 19 May 2014 and can also be viewed on Council’s website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.
Interested persons are invited to inspect the draft VPA and other supporting documentation. Written submissions concerning the provisions in the draft VPA may be made to Council throughout the abovementioned exhibition period. Submissions should be referenced “Redbank VPA” and can be posted to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, WINDSOR NSW 2756, faxed to (02) 4587 7740, or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org throughout the exhibition period.

Proposed Monthly Markets at Governor Phillip Reserve
Council has received an application from Eclectic Markets and Events to hold a monthly market at Governor Phillip Reserve. The market proposes to sell a range of high quality arts, craft, fashion and food. The Markets would be held on the third Saturday of the month between 9.00am and 2.00pm.
Governor Phillip Reserve hosts a range of events throughout the year and some could potentially conflict with a Saturday market. To ensure that the market does not dominate or conflict with other usage, it would not be given exclusive use of the site and part of any conditions would be to allow other events to take place.
Council has resolved to advertise these markets for community feedback for 14 days.
Please address all comments in relation to this mater to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council titled ''Submission - Proposed Monthly markets at Governor Philip Reserve'' by 18 April 2014. Please return to Council by any of the below methods:
Mail: PO Box 146, WINDSOR NSW 2756
