Let’s Celebrate Australia Day in the Hawkesbury - Sunday 26 January 2014

Celebrate Australia Day in the Hawkesbury at Hawkesbury City Council’s official Australia Day events with this year’s Ambassador, Susanne Gervay OAM.

Susanne Gervay OAM is an award winning author. She is head of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Australia East and New Zealand and has received numerous awards including an OAM for Children’s Literature and professional organisations.

Australia Day Breakfast hosted by Lions Club of Hawkesbury Bells Line
McMahons Park, Kurrajong

Australia Day Celebrations at the Australiana Pioneer Village
Rose Street, Wilberforce
Visit a Genuine Australian Folk Village with live music, stalls, food, demonstrations, displays, games and more. Includes the inaugural departure of the Pioneer Express (hobby train). Open 9am - 5pm. Australia Day at Hawkesbury Oasis
Corner of Church and Drummond Street, South Windsor
Celebrate Australia Day at Hawkesbury Oasis with live music, face painting, water polo, pool inflatables, aqua golf and a jumping castle. There are giant raffles and prizes to win.
