In summary the Jacaranda Ponds development will involve:

  • Approximately 580 lots for large lot residential and residential development
  • Retention of two large dams
  • A new public open space area surrounding the largest dam
  • Riparian planting, watercourse rehabilitation and ecological corridors
  • Over $23 million of infrastructure improvements (including roads and community facilities)

The reference group’s purpose is consultative only, and will provide advice/comment to Council and the developer in relation to the proposed development. The working group will operate from the date of appointment up to the end of the public exhibition period when the first development application (DA) for the site is received.

We are looking for people who are representative of the Glossodia area, and who may have the skills and experience to advise Council in the lead up to this development. Applicants are requested to provide (via the EOI Form) a short summary of their skills, background, and community connections that would assist the Council to select the appropriate candidates.

Expressions of interest (EOI) are invited from community and/or business representatives from the Glossodia area to be part of the reference group. The Glossodia Community Reference Group is not a committee of Council, but will assist Council in the lead up to this development’s commencement.
