Exhibition of Planning Proposal - Lot 8 DP 7565, 136 Longleat Lane, Kurmond

Hawkesbury City Council is exhibiting a planning proposal affecting Lot 8 DP 7565, 136 Longleat Lane, Kurmond.

The objective of the planning proposal is to allow the land to be subdivided into large lot residential allotments. The intended outcome is to facilitate a development application to subdivide the land into a maximum of 4 lots, with minimum lot sizes of 4000m² and 1ha.

The planning proposal and other supporting documentation is on public exhibition 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday at Council’s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor for the period Friday 17 April 2015 to Monday 18 May 2015 and can be viewed on Council’s website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.

Interested persons are invited to inspect the planning proposal and other supporting documentation. Written submissions should be referenced “LEP007/13” and can be posted to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, WINDSOR NSW 2756, faxed to (02) 4587 7740, or emailed to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.

The last day for the receipt of submissions is Monday 18 May 2015.

The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the proponent where it may help to resolve issues raised in the submission. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council’s Access to Information policy.

Proposed Amendment to Hawkesbury Development Control Plan 2002 – Draft Part D Chapter 8 Farm Buildings and Outbuildings

Council at the Ordinary Meeting of 31 March 2015 resolved to exhibit the draft Part D Chapter 8 Farm Buildings and Outbuildings (draft Chapter) and other associated amendments to the Hawkesbury Development Control Plan 2002 (DCP).

The aim of the draft Chapter is to change the current provisions for the erection of sheds to take into account land size, building setbacks and specified land use. The chapter also seeks to clarify the differences between Farm Buildings and outbuildings which are ancillary to a dwelling.

The draft Chapter and other supporting documentation, including associated minor administrative amendments to other parts of the DCP, is on public exhibition 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday at the Council offices, 366 George Street, Windsor for the period Friday 17 April 2015 to Monday 18 May 2015. The draft Chapter and other supporting documentation can also be viewed on Council’s website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.

The Construction of Fixed Jetty and Bank Stabilisation Structure at Governor Phillip Reserve, Windsor

Tenders are invited for the construction of a fixed jetty and bank stabilisation structures at Governor Phillip Reserve, Windsor and will be received up to 3pm on Wednesday, 6 May 2015.

It is proposed to construct a fixed jetty of approximately 35m, environmentally friendly seawall, landscaping and pathways between the boat ramp and existing pontoon on South Creek. The scope of work comprises the supply of all materials, plant, equipment, labour and the carrying out of all activities necessary for the construction of the bank stabilisation, jetty and associated landscaping.

Tender documents are available for free at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ or at Council''s Administration office at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 14 April 2015 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST).

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Please note there is a compulsory pre-tender meeting to be held at 10am on Tuesday, 21 April 2015 at the jobsite which is located at the South Creek boat ramp, Governor Phillip Reserve, Windsor.

WHS Training Administration Officer - GM015RM

PT - Tuesday to Friday

Council holds a Workers Compensation Self Insurers Licence and we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our progressive Risk Management team.

This position will be responsible for keeping the WHS Training Database current and assisting with the development of the annual WHS Training Plan.

The successful applicant must have a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent work experience, a current Drivers Licence with a Certificate in Training and/or WHS being highly desirable.

Good communication, word processing and data entry skills are essential as well as the ability to communicate with all levels within the organisation.

Salary;- Grade 8, commencing rate of pay of $801.71 gross per week for 30 hours, plus 9.5% Superannuation and the opportunity to progress through Council's Salary System.
