Tenders are invited for the reconstruction of failed road sections of Tizzana Road, Ebenezer and Terrace Road, Freemans Reach and will be received up to 3pm on Tuesday, 24 March 2015

Tender documents are available at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor from Tuesday, 3 March 2015 for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST) or available free on the WSROC e-tendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/.

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.

POSITIONS VACANT 

Compliance Officer - Parking - CP030RS

This position provides a great opportunity for a Parking Officer who is looking to expand their compliance experience. While the main focus of the position will be to enforce parking and related regulations in the Hawkesbury area through effective patrolling and surveillance of public streets and council car parking areas, there will be an opportunity to undertake other compliance and enforcement related activities.

For this position you must have highly developed customer service and conflict resolution skills as well as the ability to demonstrate a commitment to ethics, probity and transparency in decision making. Ideally you should have also completed the SEINS Infringement Processing training as well as have an understanding of relevant legislation or local government ordinance activities.

Applicants must have own reliable transport for work related travel and expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Award provisions.

Salary: Grade 10 with a commencing rate of pay of $1016.40 gross per week for 35 hours plus 9.5% Superannuation and the opportunity to progress through Council''s Salary System. Excellent working conditions apply including participation in a nine-day fortnight working arrangement.

Engineering Surveyor - IS049DM

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to provide accurate and relevant survey information for investigative design and construction of various projects for Council’s Works Program.

Applicants must have a Degree in Surveying or equivalent, a Class C Licence and proven experience in engineering surveying and cadastral surveys as well as the associated calculations. Experience in computer aided drafting, Landmark and Auto Cad software is also essential.

Salary:- Grade 14 with a commencing rate of pay of $1,216.48 gross per week for 35 hours plus 9.5% superannuation and the opportunity to progress through Council''s Salary System.

Excellent working conditions apply including participation in a nine-day fortnight working agreement.

Notice is hereby given that the application lodged, under Section 153 of the Roads Act 1993, for the leasing of the above mentioned road reserve, was approved on 3 February 2015 by a resolution of Council. Enquiries regarding this matter should be referred to Council’s Senior Property Officer on 4560 4444.
