Richmond Swimming Centre’s 50m pool will be closed for school usage and carnivals at the following times in November and December:

Environmental Health Officers

CP015RS ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICERS

1 x Temporary Maternity Relief – up to 12 months

1 x Part-Time 14 hours per week

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Health Officers to join our Environment and Regulatory Services Team.

Both positions will play an important role in educating our community and applying Environmental Health practices proactively. Duties will include functions such as pollution control, public health, inspections of sewage management facilities, policy development and general administration.

It is essential that you have a relevant degree, a current driver’s licence, together with a solid working knowledge of Local Government and Protection of the Environment Operations Acts.

The maternity relief position is a full time role, salary is negotiable from $68,310 pa, plus 9.5% superannuation, leaseback vehicle and 9 day fortnight.

The part time role is 14 hours per week, days of work are Thursdays to Fridays. Salary is negotiable from $525.46 gross per 14 hour week, plus 9.5% superannuation. University students in final year of studies may also be considered for this role.

A great opportunity exists for a person looking to utilise their generalist HR related skills to assist with the ongoing development and delivery of quality HR services to the organisation.

The position is a hands-on operational role which provides support across key HR functions relating to recruitment and selection, induction, training, performance management, employee relations and HRIS. While the role is generalist, a strong emphasis will be on developing HR Information Systems to support corporate and workforce planning initiatives.

Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field together with demonstrated relevant work experience with particular focus on the implementation of HR Information Systems. An understanding of contemporary HR practices coupled with the ability to prepare/analyse statistics and interpret policy and procedures is required. You must also be able to multi-task, prioritise workloads and develop effective relationships with people across all levels of the organisation.

Trainee - Library Assistant

To be considered for this position, ideally you would have completed your HSC and have some customer service and computer experience. You must also be willing to undertake tertiary studies (Cert 111 in Library and Cultural Services). As a requirement of this Traineeship it is essential that you do not already possess a Certificate III or higher-level qualification.

Commencing Salary will range from $377.80 to $585.80 per week dependant upon age and level of school qualification. Applicants should note that continuing employment beyond the eighteen (18) month traineeship period cannot be guaranteed.
