Richmond Swimming Centre 2015 / 2016 Summer Season

Richmond Swimming Centre will be open for the 2015 / 2016 Summer Season on Saturday, 19 September 2015.

With large open spaces, a half size basketball court, shaded toddlers pool and children's playground, Richmond Swimming Centre is the perfect place to hold a family gathering, sporting or community group event.

Learn to swim lessons and squad training will operate after school and on Saturday mornings in Term 4, 2015 and in Term 1, 2016. School holiday intensive sessions will run for all levels during the summer school holidays in the lead up to school swimming carnivals. Club nights are hosted on Friday nights.

Business Waste Programs Officer - CP050SP

Temporary position – 2 days pw for 12 months

Council is seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional to assist in the development and implementation of a Business Waste Program and to conduct community audits to identify the key issues in the types of waste and recycling services needed in the Hawkesbury.

The successful person must have a tertiary qualification in Natural Resource or Environmental Management and previous experience in the waste industry. Experience in the development and delivery of waste education programs is also essential.

Applicants must have own reliable transport for work related travel, expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Award provisions.

Salary: $553.40 gross per week for 14 hours plus 9.5% superannuation.

Manager Strategic Planning - CP001SP

Reporting to the Director City Planning you will be responsible for the Organisation’s Strategic Planning functions including Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework; Land Use Strategy; Policy and Planning Instruments as well as Strategic Environmental and Sustainability Programs.

To succeed in the role, you will have a tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Strategic Planning, Management or related discipline, a Class C Licence and significant post-graduate experience in Development and Strategic Planning, particularly in Local Government and public administration or business. In addition you will have experience at a senior management level and a high level of interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

Weighbridge Supervisor - IS039WM

Salary neg from $56K pa + Super

+ 9 Day-Fortnight

Reporting to the Waste Management Coordinator you will be responsible for the management of Weighbridge Operations at Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility. This role will play a key part in the management and operation of this facility and the successful candidate will take charge of a small dedicated weighbridge operations team, whilst contributing to the overall management of the site.

The successful candidate will have experience in weighbridge operations, staff management, accounts management and cash handling, have strong customer service skills, and have experience in managing and dealing with conflict.

Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility is a combined landfill and recycling facility located in South Windsor. The facility primarily operates to serve the Hawkesbury Community and will move through a period of change and update in services in the short to medium term to benefit the community further. In addition to the day to day operations and management of the weighbridge, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity from time-to-time to work on dedicated projects in the delivery of these changes.
