Intergrated Development Proposal

Lot 74 DP 1187236, 96 Grose Vale Road North Richmond NSW 2754

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for a Torrens title subdivision consisting of 253 residential lots and two residual lots at 96 Grose Vale Road, North Richmond (known as ‘Redbank’). The applicant is North Richmond Joint Venture Pty Ltd and the Sydney West Joint Regional Planning Panel is the consent authority.

The proposed development is defined as integrated development under Section 91 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because an approval under the Water Management Act 2000 and Heritage Act 1977 is required. The approval bodies for these referrals are the Office of Water and NSW Heritage Council.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period of 13 April to 13 May 2016. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday at Council's Administration Office – 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference DA0216/16. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Please note that confidentiality is not available to objectors. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council Policy for Access to Information.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Customer Service Officer with a demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service.

As a Senior Customer Service Officer, you will actively assist the team with complex customer enquiries and transactions. As a result you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills to resolve complex enquiries and ensure the delivery of a quality service to our customers. Ideally you will also have a tertiary qualification in Customer Services, Communication or Administration, a demonstrated knowledge of local government functions as well as previous industry related experience.

This is a great opportunity to develop a broad range of skills in administration and customer service related fields, while completing an accredited Cert III Business Services qualification, which will help to kick start your career for future success.

So if you are a bright, enthusiastic person and enjoy customer contact, this traineeship will assist you to progress your career in Local Government or Customer Service based industries.

To be considered for this position, ideally you would have completed your HSC and have some customer service or administration experience. It is also essential that you do not already possess a Certificate III or higher-level qualification. Applicants should note that continuing employment beyond the twelve month traineeship period cannot be guaranteed.

Commencing Salary: will range from $377.80 to $585.80 per week, dependent upon age and level of school qualification.

Building Management Systems Upgrade - Various Sites          Tender No. 00976

Tenders are invited for Building Management Systems upgrades to various sites and will be received up to 3pm on Tuesday, 3 May 2016.

Works include the replacement of Building Management Systems at Windsor Museum, Deerubbin Centre Windsor, Oasis Centre South Windsor, South Windsor Family Centre, Kurrajong Community Centre and Wilberforce Fire Control Building.

Tender documents are available free at WSROC e-tendering website or at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor. Tender documents are available from Tuesday, 12 April 2016 for free at WSROC’s e-tendering website or at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST).

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Please note there is a compulsory site inspection at 9am on Friday, 22 April 2016 at 366 George Street, Windsor followed by a visit to the six Council sites.
