Building Services Controls Officer - IS079BS

Salary negotiable from $68K + Super

+ 9 day fortnight

As part of the Building Services team you will be required to carry out building controls services, security and electrical projects and maintenance as directed to an acceptable standard within budgetary and time constraints and ensure Council infrastructure is kept to a safe and reliable standard.

Energetic and team orientated, you must have an Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate; Austell/Masters Cablers Open Cabling Licence or a Diploma in Computer Systems and/or Electronics and Communications as well as a Class C Drivers Licence and a Workcover WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW.

Other requirements include experience in electrical and security service works and in design and configuration of building controls systems.

Building Services Tradesperson - IS055BS

Are you a Tradesperson looking to work close to home?

We currently have a full time position for a Building/Tradesperson. Duties will include a wide range of building maintenance and repair work to council properties. You will need the ability to assess the maintenance requirements and execute the necessary works associated with building maintenance and construction work.

The successful applicant must have a Trade Certificate in Carpentry or similar qualification, a Class C Driver's Licence, demonstrated experience in the building industry, customer service experience, two-way radio skills and the ability to read plans and specifications.

Commencing Salary: Grade 8 Entry, $960.58 gross per 38 hour week, plus allowances, 9.5% Superannuation and the opportunity to progress through Council's Salary System. Excellent working conditions apply including participation in a nine day fortnight working arrangement.
