Code of Meeting PracticeAt its meeting on 8 August 2017, Council resolved to place an amended Code of Meeting Practice on public exhibition, in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993, seeking submissions for any amendments to the Code.
In accordance with that decision, Council’s Draft Code of Meeting Practice is placed on public exhibition until Friday, 22 September 2017 and may be viewed on Council’s website at www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au or at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor. If you would like to make a submission, Council will receive these, in writing, addressed to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756, by fax to (02) 4587 7740 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org up to close of business on Friday, 6 October 2017. Council will consider all submissions received at a subsequent Council Meeting.
Should you lodge a submission, it will be considered, along with any other submissions received and may be included in Council’s meeting business paper. Your submission, including any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council’s Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009. The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary but, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.

Governor Phillip Reserve and Boat RampTemporary Closure

Exhibition of Planning Proposal - Lot E DP 373372, 452 Greggs Road, Kurrajong
Council is exhibiting a planning proposal affecting Lot E DP 373372, 452 Greggs Road, Kurrajong (the subject site).
The objective of the planning proposal is to enable the subdivision of the subject site into two lots with a minimum lot size of not less than 4,000m2. The planning proposal aims to achieve this intended outcome by amending the Lot Size Map of Hawkesbury Local Environmental Plan 2012 to change the minimum lot size for the subdivision of the subject site 4,000m2.
The planning proposal and other supporting documentation is on public exhibition for the period Friday, 1 September to Monday, 2 October 2017.

The information will be stored in Council''s electronic records system and paper files. For your protection, Council recommends that you do not include defamatory comments in your submission.
Under Section 147(5) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Where relevant a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement is to accompany any submission lodged with Council. This statement can be obtained from Council’s Customer Service Unit or on Council’s website.
Any comments about this proposal may contain information that is personal information, such as information that identifies you, etc, for the purposes of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1988.
Submissions are balanced with Council’s statutory obligations, the rights of the proponent and the public interest. Council must consider any submissions made before it decides whether to proceed with or abandon a proposal.
The Minister for Planning has delegated the making of the local environmental plan to Council.

Integrated Development Proposal
Lot 3 DP 607219, 494 Putty Road, Wilberforce Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for Construction of Access Driveway and Land Filling/Earthworks Adjacent to Existing Outbuilding at the above property. The applicant is Jason Galea. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.
The proposed development is defined as Integrated Development under Section 91 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because an approval under the Water Management Act 2000 is required. The approval body is the NSW Department of Primary Industries Office of Water.
The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 31 August 2017 to 29 September 2017. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, at Council’s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor.
During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference DA0483/17. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Learn to Swim Instructor - IS062PR2017/2018
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic people to undertake duties as casual Learn to Swim Instructors for our swimming centre at Richmond during the 2017/2018 summer pool season.
These positions are casual positions and rostered hours each week between 3pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, will be negotiated with the successful applicants based on the needs of the centre. Some weekend morning shifts may also be required. Position requirements:-
Learn to Swim Instructors
- Current Austswim Accreditation
- Current Resuscitation Certificate
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Level 1/Bronze Coaching Accreditation & Current A.S.C.T.A membership would be highly desirable
- Working with Children Check is compulsory (If under the age of 18 a Volunteers Working with Children Check is required)
Salary will be $30.71 gross per hour, which includes a 25% casual loading.
Applicants for this position must be physically fit to undertake the duties required. Under the "Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012" applicants will be required to provide a Working with Children Check verification code, this is available by applying via the www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au website.
