Local Heritage Assistance Fund 2017 – 2018. Minor Improvements/Conservation Works to Heritage Listed Residential Properties within Windsor and Richmond Historic Townships

Hawkesbury City Council and the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage are jointly funding the Local Heritage Assistance Fund 2017– 2018 (the Local Assistance Fund) which is targeted at minor improvements/conservation works to heritage listed residential properties within the Windsor and Richmond historic townships.

Council is now inviting applications from owners or managers of heritage listed residential properties within Windsor and Richmond towns for the Local Assistance Fund, which provides dollar for dollar grant funding of up to $2,000 for minor conservation works to heritage listed residential properties in the historic townships of Windsor and Richmond.

Applications are now open and the final date for submissions is Monday, 21 August 2017. Application guidelines and forms can be downloaded from Council’s website at http://www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au

An information session will be held on Wednesday, 26 July 2017 at Hawkesbury City Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor, in the Large Committee Room First Floor (up the ramp) between 6:30pm – 8pm. The session will include presentations by Council’s Heritage Advisor and Council Officers.

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for - Extensive Agriculture - Earthworks and Landfill at the above property. The applicant is Wolfram Reinhardt. Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition for the period 6/07/2017 to 20/07/2017. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, at Council’s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference DA0341/17. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Gallery and Museum Assistant - SS060AG

Part-time weekend work

Museum: Every fourth weekend - Saturday and Sunday shift of Six hours – 10am to 4pm

An enthusiastic and energetic person is required to assist in the operation of the Museum on weekends.

As part of a small but dedicated Cultural Services team, the assistant will also be required to open and close the museum or Gallery; supervise and support volunteer staff; have high level customer service skills, work on weekend events; report accurately to line management and be personable and flexible in their approach.

Additional casual hours may be available at the Gallery and the Museum, both during week days and weekends. Ability to attend mandatory WHS and corporate training on week days is a requirement.

Salary: - Grade 8, with a commencing rate of pay of $28.88 gross per hour, plus Award weekend penalties rates of 25% for Saturdays and 50% for Sundays as well as 9.5% superannuation.

Weighbridge Attendant - IS040WM

Weekend Work

Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility is a combined landfill and recycling facility located in South Windsor. The facility primarily operates to serve the Hawkesbury Community and will move through a period of change and update in services in the short to medium term to benefit the community further.

The successful candidate should have experience in weighbridge operations, accounts management and cash handling, have strong customer service skills, and have experience in managing and dealing with conflict. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends on Saturday and Sunday. There may be casual shifts available during the week.

Rate of Pay: - Hourly rates include weekend loadings Saturday $47.07 per hour, Sunday $62.76 per hour.
