Bushland Restoration Services - Tender No T00045

Tenders are invited for Bushland Restoration Services and will be received up to 3pm on Tuesday, 27 June 2017.

Council (the Principal) is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced bushland restoration organisations or individuals to provide bush restoration, regeneration and associated activities in public lands managed by Hawkesbury City Council.

Tender documents are available from Tuesday, 30 May 2017 free at WSROC e-tendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ or at Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor for a non-refundable fee of $100 (incl. GST).

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.

The 2016 Archibald Prize

Australia’s foremost portraiture prize opens on 19 May and continues till 2 July. Awarded to the best painting of a notable Australian, the Archibald Prize is a who’s who of Australian culture, from politicians and celebrities to sporting heroes and artists. The Prize awards $100,000 prize money for the winning artist.

PLEASE NOTE, by arrangement with the Art Gallery of NSW this is a ticketed/paid event.

Integrated Development Proposal

Development Application No. DA0284/17

Hawkesbury City Council has received a development application for a 19 lot Torrens title subdivision at 86 Arthur Phillip Drive, North Richmond. The proposal involves the further subdivision of Lots 795 and 796 within the Yeomans Precinct of Redbank. The applicant is Tim Babbage and Hawkesbury City Council is the consent authority.

The proposed development is defined as ‘integrated development’ under Section 91 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 because approvals under the Heritage Act 1977, Rural Fires Act 1997 and Water Management Act 2000 are required. The approval bodies for these integrated referrals are the Heritage Branch (Office of Environment and Heritage), Rural Fire Service and Department of Primary Industries – Water.

The development application and supporting information will be on public exhibition between 1 and 30 June 2017. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday at Council's Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference ‘DA0284/17’. Where a submission by way of an objection is made, the grounds for the objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission, your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Kennel Assistant - CP021RS

We currently have a vacancy for a full time Kennel Assistant to join the team at the Companion Animals Shelter located at McGraths Hill. The position has responsibility for the cleaning of the shelters as well as the caring and feeding of the impounded animals.

Position Requirements:

? Compassionate attitude towards animals

? Previous experience in maintaining premises and handling animals

? Physical fitness to carry out the duties of the position

Salary: Grade 4 Entry, commencing at $847.00 gross per 35hour week, plus 9.5% Superannuation. Excellent working conditions apply including participation in a nine days’ fortnight working arrangement.

Records Data Integrity Clerk - SS041RE

We are seeking an experienced Records Data Integrity Officer to contribute to the efficient delivery of Council’s information management service. You will ensure all incoming correspondence is captured in our corporate electronic document management system, undertaking archiving and file retrieval requests.

To be successful you will need a Records Management, Office Administration or Information Technology Certificate or demonstrated experience in records management. Excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as an ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality are also essential.

Experience using an electronic document management system as well as using scanning and imaging equipment is desirable.

Salary: - Grade 8 Entry, $987.48 gross per week, plus 9.5% Superannuation and 9 Day fortnight.
