Design & Investigation Engineer - IS048DM

Salary Range from $78K including Civil Liability Allowance + 9.5% Super

+9 Day Fortnight

We are seeking an experienced and innovative engineer to undertake the investigation and design of projects outlined in Council's Works Program. This is a challenging role that will require strong project and technical management skills to plan contract documentation for civil projects as well as administer Council's civil design and survey computer systems.

Applicants must have a relevant tertiary qualification or nearing completion as well as demonstrated experience in the co-ordination of projects from start-up to completion.

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced and skilled Events & Community Engagement Coordinator to help establish the Hawkesbury as an event friendly destination and to support and develop Council’s events and community engagement programs.

You will be working within a small but dynamic Corporate Communication Team. You will assist in coordinating Council’s events programs and be responsible for building and administering processes to ensure that the City delivers quality, successful and sustainable events. You will be responsible for Council’s online community engagement site and events Facebook page. You will also provide support with general public relations and media relations. The successful applicant will assist and encourage external and internal event organisers to realise events that will add vibrancy to our many towns and villages and capitalise on the rich opportunities that the Hawkesbury offers.

To be successful in the role we are looking for a professional with demonstrated experience in event management and community engagement programs preferably within a government setting. Applicants will be responsible for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and therefore must have strong communication and negotiation skills, be highly organised, able to work independently, have excellent IT skills and be across all social media platforms. Photography and or graphic design skills are desirable but are not a requirement for the position. Tertiary qualifications in Event Management or in Communications, Public Relations or a related field are essential.

Library Officer - Community Engagement - SS090LS

Council is seeking an innovative and suitably qualified Library Officer. Based in Windsor, with a branch library in Richmond, this position will contribute to providing responsive, high quality, friendly and efficient library and information services relevant to the needs of the Hawkesbury community.

The successful applicant must have a Diploma of Library and Information Services or equivalent as well as experience in developing and delivering programs and events for diverse audiences ranging from children through to adults. Good interpersonal and presentation skills are essential.

Good time management, planning and organisational skills with the flexibility to work weekends and evenings to present occasional out of hours programs is also required as well as a Class C Licence.

Salary:- Grade 8, commencing rate of pay of $1,010.69 gross per week for 35 hours, plus Superannuation and the opportunity to participate in a nine day fortnight working arrangement.

Administration Officer - Human Resources - GM020HR

Part time (21 hours per week)

We currently have an opportunity for a highly organised and efficient administration officer to join the Human Resources Team.

This is an interesting and varied role where you are required to provide high level administration support for a range of HR related functions. A key focus will be on maintaining systems that provide user friendly, value added support to HR and the organisation.

Responsibilities will include the preparation of recruitment documentation, drafting correspondence, organising service awards, assisting with training and HR related events and ensuring appropriate record keeping practices are adhered to.

You will have a tertiary qualification in administration along with skills and experience in a broad range of administrative tasks. You must also have effective communication skills, a proactive can-do approach and the ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement when making decisions. Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills are also required.

Commencing Salary:- Grade 9 Entry, $631.64 per week, plus 9.5% Superannuation. Days of work will be Wednesday to Friday.
