Testing and Servicing of Fire Services - Tender No. T00062

Tenders are invited for Testing and Servicing of Fire Services and will be received up to 3pm on Tuesday, 10 October 2017.

Council is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced organisations or individuals to provide Testing and Servicing of Fire Services as detailed within the Request for Tender documents.

Tender documents are available from Tuesday, 19 September 2017 free at WSROC e-tendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ or for a non-refundable fee of $100 (including GST) at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor.

Tenders may only be submitted by the means described in the tender documents and must be received by the closing time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

The canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify the applicant from the tender process.

Community Information

Richmond Swimming Centre 2017-2018 Summer Season

Richmond Swimming Centre will be open for the 2017-2018 Summer Season in time for the September school holidays on Saturday, 23 September 2017.

With large open spaces, a half size basketball court, shaded toddlers pool and children’s playground, Richmond Swimming Centre is the perfect place to hold a family gathering / sporting or community group event.

Learn to Swim lessons and Squad training will operate after school and on Saturday mornings in Term 4, 2017 and in Term 1, 2018. School Holiday Intensive Sessions will run for all levels during the summer school holidays in the lead up to School Swimming Carnivals. Club nights are hosted on Friday nights.

The Swimming Pool will again be open until 7pm on weekdays throughout the School term to allow for longer lap swimming times.

Expressions of Interest

Community Representation on Council’s enhancing the Arts in the Hawkesbury Working Group

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from members of the community who have a genuine interest in, and are able to demonstrate knowledge in the arts including expertise and experience in arts projects and to act as community representatives on the working group outlined below.

Community members are generally appointed to working groups on the basis of their subject knowledge and experience, technical skills and or their ability to interpret the common interests of residents.

This Working Group is to be formed in accordance with the Council resolution No. 133 from the Ordinary Council Meeting of 25 July 2017.

Visitor Information Centre Officer – Casual - SS057TC

Council is committed to the ongoing development of visitor services within the Hawkesbury and as a result the opportunity has arisen to appoint a casual Visitor Information Officer to assist current workloads. Weekday and weekend shifts are available.

Duties include providing a visitor information and referral service as well as assisting in promoting tourism and visitor opportunities within The Hawkesbury area.

The successful applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service experience - preferably within a visitor information centre (VIC) or similar environment. Applicants must also be experienced in using: internet as well as online and print media for accurate information gathering purposes; various computer programs including word processing and spread sheets for the collation of data including statistics and financials. Experience developing and implementing procedures that support efficient, effective and safe work practices is also required. Good research and writing skills are also essential.

Salary will be $33.34 gross per hour, which includes a 25% casual loading.
