Richmond Swimming Centre 2017-2018 Summer Season

Richmond Swimming Centre will be open for the 2017-2018 Summer Season in time for the September school holidays on Saturday, 23 September 2017.

With large open spaces, a half size basketball court, shaded toddlers pool and children’s playground, Richmond Swimming Centre is the perfect place to hold a family gathering / sporting or community group event.

Learn to Swim lessons and Squad training will operate after school and on Saturday mornings in Term 4, 2017 and in Term 1, 2018. School Holiday Intensive Sessions will run for all levels during the summer school holidays in the lead up to School Swimming Carnivals. Club nights are hosted on Friday nights.

The Swimming Pool will again be open until 7pm on weekdays throughout the School term to allow for longer lap swimming times.

Development Proposal

(PART 5 APPLICATION)

Hawkesbury City Council has received a Part 5 Application for the construction of stormwater management infrastructure within the Central Precinct of Pitt Town. This work includes the construction of a bio-basin at 44 Mitchell Road, Pitt Town.

This application has been submitted under Part 5 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment (EP&A) Act 1979. The Applicant for this matter is Cardno and Hawkesbury City Council is the Determining Authority. A watercourse occupies the property and the application has been referred to the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) – Water for comment.

The application, Review of Environmental Factors (REF) and plans will be on public exhibition for the period of 7 September 2017 to 21 September 2017. All plans and details may be inspected between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday at Council’s Administration Office, 366 George Street, Windsor.

During the exhibition period any person may make a submission in writing to Council in relation to the development application, quoting reference ‘PT50003/17’. Where a submission by way of objection is made, the grounds for objection are to be specified in the submission. Should you lodge a submission your views will be taken into account as part of our assessment and a reply will be forwarded to you when the application is determined.

Please note that confidentiality is not available to respondents. The details of any submissions may be included in a Council report or forwarded to the Applicant where it may help to resolve design or operational problems. Information (including copies of submissions) may also be released in accordance with Council’s Policy for Access to Information.

Under Section 147(5) of the EP&A Act, any person who makes a submission to Council is required to disclose any political donation or gift. Any submission made is to be accompanied by a Political Donation and Gift Disclosure Statement. This statement is available from Council’s website.
