Council will welcome a group of visiting refugees to launch a Centerlink initiative, the "Pathways to Primary Industries" program at the Tebbutt Room in the Deerubbin Centre, Windsor at 1pm, on Friday 27 June 2008. The launch follows on from last weeks celebration of Refugee Week. A bus trip has been organised for the refugee group who will tour the Hawkesbury farming area prior to the reception. The participants will visit two local farms including an Orange Orchard and a market Garden which will show them a part of Sydney they might not have seen before and expose them to the option of training and/or employment in farming.
