Performance in the Gallery

A Dynamic and Stimulating Program for people with a Disability.

Performance in the Gallery is a series of dance and theatre making workshops designed for people with mixed abilities. Embracing difference and presenting opportunity for creative expression, the workshops cover a wide range of skills including dance and movement, coordination, sound making, communication, gesture and action, and creative writing/storytelling.

Within each term we hold a “special workshop” which incorporates multi-artforms to create an artwork in response to the current exhibition in the Gallery. This may include puppet making, photography or painting.

An important feature of Performance in the Gallery is ‘our open’ door approach where a safe, friendly space is created for all participates to enjoy guilt-free fun and let their imaginations run wild!
