Proposed Adoption of 'Policy regarding Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors'
Under the Local Government Act, 1993 Council is required to review and adopt its Policy for the Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Councillors each year. As part of this process, Council is also required to give public notice of the proposed adoption of the Policy for the making of public submissions.
The proposed Policy is now on public exhibition and may be viewed at Council's Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor during normal business hours until Friday, 23 September 2016. Copies may also be obtained online or by contacting the Manager Corporate Services and Governance on 4560 4426 or attention email enquiries to email@example.com.
If you would like to make a submission, Council will receive these, in writing, addressed to the Acting General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756, or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org up to close of business on Friday 23 September 2016.
Should you lodge a submission, it will be considered, along with any other submissions received and may be referred to in a report included in a Council meeting business paper. Your submission, including any personal information, is accessible by any person upon written application, subject to Council's Privacy Management Plan and the Government Information (Public Access) Act, 2009.
The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary but, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council's records system.
