Mayoral Column

What are your ideas for Windsor Mall? Do you want to see the southern end opened up for a shared pedestrian zone in Windsor Mall or would you rather keep it closed? How do you want to prioritise key projects for Windsor? Other options are park and river connections or outdoor dining upgrades or extending the Library and Gallery courtyard.

What about Richmond Town Centre? What would you like to see? For Richmond, you can prioritise key projects such as a green tree boulevarde, new seating and street furniture, lighting, more opportunities for outdoor dining and activation of Richmond Park – such as new seating and pedestrian connectivity.

South Windsor options available to you are to prioritise include a George Street green boulevarde with street trees linking South Windsor from McLeod Park to the Station, new seating, Bereewan Park upgrades – more greenery and tree canopy, formal path network, activate the park with play equipment or courts.

Council’s community survey about these three town centres is open until 31 August. We want to hear your views on what projects you would choose for these three town centres, plus any other ideas you may have. I encourage you to have you say through the online survey at www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au

Hard copies of the survey are also available at Council’s Administration Building, Hawkesbury Central Library and Richmond Branch Library or by calling Council’s Customer Service on 4560 4444.
