Hawkesbury City Council is hosting a Local Government Week Family Event at Governor Phillip Park on Sunday 21 July from 10am – 3pm. Hawkesbury Fest will celebrate Local Government Week by providing an opportunity for the Hawkesbury community to come together for a free community festival.

Come down with your family and friends and enjoy a jam-packed day of interactive activities, entertainment and fun for the family.

Activities on the day will include:

  • Free Rides (Jumping Castle , Giant Slide, Maze jumping Castle and a small one for toddlers)
  • Free Face painting
  • Roving entertainment (hula hoop and juggling)
  • Free Hula Hoop and Juggling workshops
  • Free interactive activities
  • The Hawkesbury Visitor Information Centre will be there. They can provide you with local information, maps, books, heritage walks, things to do and a whole lot more.
  • Hawkesbury Community Nursery – giving away native plants and providing you with all you need to know about our native plants.
  • Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter –  promoting pets for adoption
  • Flyball Display by Norwest Thunderdogs
  • Food trucks and a community BBQ
  • Market stalls
  • Local Community Groups/Council Services stalls
  • Free giveaways including show bags filled with goodies.

Hawkesbury Fest is set to be a great family day out this winter, so rug up and join in the fun on Sunday 21 July 2019. All are welcome!
