Live & Local Music Hawkesbury

Get set for some great music and fun in the Hawkesbury. Richmond and Kurrajong will be alive with music in March and April.

With Live and Local Strategic Initiative funding from Create NSW and the Live Music Office, Hawkesbury City Council, local businesses and local musicians will work together to create fun and vibrant, music filled town centres.

Grant funding is being used to pay local musicians, a curator and technicians, all of whom must live in Western Sydney. Or, in the case of bands or duos, 50% of the artists in the band or duo must reside in one of the 13 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Western Sydney: Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Camden, Canterbury-Bankstown, Campbelltown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Parramatta, Penrith, The Hills and Wollondilly.

Expressions of interest from musicians and curators have now closed. The music programs will now be created and details will be released as soon as possible. Updates will be included on this page as well as the following facebook pages:

The micro-music festivals will be free to the public.
