Free movie – Charlie and Boots

Charlie and Boots will screen at Hawkesbury Central Library on Thursday, 12 April at 10am and again at 6pm.

This hilarious 2009 Australian comedy follows a father and son as they take a road trip across Australia.  After the sudden death of his mother, ‘Boots’ (Shane Jacobsen) reconciles with his father Charlie (Paul Hogan). The two head across Australia in a Holden Kingswood to fulfil a lifelong dream of fishing on the Cape York Peninsula. This funny and touching film brings together a great pairing of comedic actors.

The movie, on loan from the National Film and Sound Archive, will screen in the Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street Windsor. Entry is free, however, bookings are essential via Eventbrite or call 4560 4460.

Tea and coffee will be available before the screenings and everyone is also welcome to bring along their own snacks and drinks. The movie runs for 101 minutes and is rated M. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Suitability for viewing is at the discretion of the parent/carer. Movies @ your Library events are held on the second Thursday of the month, except January.
