Author Sandie Docker visits the Hawkesbury
Debut author Sandie Docker will visit Hawkesbury Central Library on Tuesday, 26 June from 6pm to 7:30pm to chat about her new novel The Kookaburra Creek Café.
Sandie Docker is a Sydney author who writes every day, writing everything the old fashioned way using pen and paper. The Kookaburra Creek Café is her first novel and is set in the small rural town of Kookaburra Creek. This heart-warming story focuses on the lives of three multi-generational women working at the local café and centres on the themes of friendship, second chances, shattered lives, love and loss, and a lifetime of secrets.
Bookings are essential via www.hawkesburylibrary.eventbrite.com or call 4560 4460.
The free talk will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor. Tea and coffee provided.
