Comic Con-versation festival this school holidays

Hawkesbury Library Service is proud to be participating in Comic Con-versation 2018 festival for the first time this year, as part of its School Holiday activities.

Australian comic book artist, Rob Feldman will also run a humorous comic book making workshop. Numbers are limited for all school holiday activities so use your super powers and book in super quick!

COMIC CON-VERSATION 2018

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY

Monday, 9 July 10am-5pm
Drop in to the library and choose from a range of second hand comics. While there, check out our huge range of comics, manga and graphic novels to borrow.

SUPA COASTERS

Tuesday, 10 July 2:30pm-4pm
Using a little kapow, create a set of coasters from old comics.

COMIC KEEPSAKE JOURNAL

Tuesday, 17 July 2pm-4pm
Learn how to make a compendium from scrap paper and old books, and then zap the cover with comic images.

LIFE OF A COMIC BOOK ARTIST

This not to be missed workshop will be presented by comic book creator Rob Feldman. He will present fun and humorous look at the life of comic book artist and follow up with a comic drawing workshop.
$5 Ages 7-12 years


All activities are for school aged children (children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult).

Some workshops have a small fee, payable at time of booking.
