Freemans Reach Road Upgrade

Two sections of Freemans Reach Road, Freemans Reach are set to receive a $1.4 million upgrade that will be jointly funded by Hawkesbury City Council, Roads and Maritime Services and the Roads to Recovery Program.

Reconstruction, including associated shoulder works, will commence from Thursday, 24 May 2018.

A necessary road closure will be in place from Monday, 28 May 2018 until the project is completed, which is expected to be approximately four weeks, weather permitting.

The road will be closed to through traffic between Wilberforce Road and Gorricks Lane, with access only provided for buses, local residents and emergency services.

All through traffic will be diverted through Kurmond Road and Wilberforce Road to enable the proposed construction works to be completed as soon as possible. Motorists who are not residents are advised to use the alternative route. Council appreciates the safe cooperation of motorists during this period of inconvenience.
