Plastic Free Living

Plastic has infiltrated every aspect of our lives from packaging to food storage. Next in Hawkesbury City Council’s free series of waste workshops for the community, Hawkesbury Library Service will run a workshop on plastic free living.

Come along on Tuesday, 12 June from10am to midday for a presentation at Hawkesbury Central Library by Margaret Mossakowska, who has appeared on ABC Gardening Australia. In an effort to help reduce plastic from everyday life, Margaret will suggest alternatives to common products and demonstrate how to make safe, beeswax-infused wraps.

Bookings are essential for this free event as places are limited. Book online at or call 4560 4460. Hawkesbury Central Library is located at 300 George Street, Windsor.

This project is a NSW Environment Protection Authority, Waste Less, Recycle More initiative, funded from the waste levy.Plastic Free Living
