Family History @ the Library in February

The Library provides free access to a number of useful family history databases including Ancestry and Find My Past. Guest speaker Jason Reeve from Ancestry will give a presentation on this useful website at the Hawkesbury Family History Group meeting on Wednesday, 13 February. The talk will focus on new developments as well as options available through Ancestry’s DNA testing.

Anyone interested in family history is welcome to attend the presentation. The meeting commences at 10am at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor. There is no need to book and attendance is free.

On Thursday, 21 February, Hawkesbury Library Service will hold an ‘Introduction to Family History’ class. If you have always wanted to trace your family history but don’t know where to start, this is the perfect session for you. Join us for an introductory session aimed at beginners. It will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and is free. Bookings are essential via www.hawkesburylibrary.eventbrite.com or call (02) 4560 4460.
