Redbank Subdivision Development Application

Hawkesbury City Council has received a Development Application (DA0498/18) which is for a subdivision to form part of the original Redbank residential land release.

The Development Application is for vegetation removal, the demolition of a dwelling house and outbuilding, earthworks, the removal of two dams, the construction of roads, landscaping and public domain works and a staged Torrens title subdivision to create an additional 273 residential lots and four open space lots at 382 Grose Vale Road, North Richmond.

The subdivision involves the creation of the ‘Promenade’, ‘Southern Heights’ and ‘Ridgetops’ Precincts.

The Stage 1 Promenade Precinct is for the creation of 147 residential lots, the Stage 2 Southern Heights Precinct is for the creation of 54 residential lots and the Stage 3 Ridgetops Precinct is for the creation of 72 residential lots.

This application meets the criteria for determination by the Sydney Western City Planning Panel as the development has a Capital Investment Value in excess of $20 million.

The Voluntary Planning Agreement for the Redbank site refers to approximately 1,400 dwellings being developed on the land. A total of 590 residential allotments have been approved for the Redbank site at this stage. The 273 residential lots proposed with Development Application No. DA0498/18 are to form part of the approximately 1,400 dwellings for the Redbank site.
