Library Lovers’ Day Talk – Perfume | Catherine du Peloux

Join Hawkesbury Library Service for a ‘Library Lovers’ Day’ presentation by perfume reviewer Catherine du Peloux Menage on Friday, 7 February, from 11am to midday.

The theme for Library Lovers’ Day 2020 is ‘Uncover something new’.  Library Lovers' Day is an opportunity for library and information professionals to show off their libraries and for people across Australia to show their love for libraries.

Our world is soaked in scent, from washing up liquid to precious perfume worn on special occasions. Yet how much do we know about fragrance and about our sense of smell? Learn about how smell works, how perfume is made, find out about ‘fragrance families’ and why so many scents can give you real delight. Catherine du Peloux Menaege will take you on a fascinating journey abut perfume.

The free talk will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street Windsor. Bookings are essential as morning tea will be provided. Visit www.hawkesburylibrary.eventbrite.com to book or call 4560 4460.
